Greg Baker, president and chairperson of Rennaissance Charitable Foundation Inc., and Jennifer Bartenbach, CEO of Central Indiana Community Foundation, will discuss the first proposed DAF regulations issued by the IRS Department of the Treasury in November 14, 2023. The IRS held its first public hearing in May 2024 in Washington, DC after an extended comment period. The panelists provided feedback about the proposed regulations by submitting comments as well as providing in-person testimony. The panel will discuss the future of DAFs if the proposed regulations are adopted as is, and how the proposed changes to the regulations would impact fundraising with donors who are grant advisors to donor advised funds.
