We all know planned giving can feel like a big, sometimes intimidating topic — but at its core, it’s about understanding what really drives a donor’s desire to leave a lasting impact. In this conversation, we’ll hear directly from both fundraisers and donors about what makes these legacy discussions meaningful, when and how they start, and what builds real trust along the way. We’ll dig into the questions fundraisers often wonder: What sparks a donor’s interest in including an organization in their estate plans? What language resonates — and what falls flat? And how can we meet donors where they are in life while helping them see how their story lives on through philanthropy? This session is all about getting inside the mindset of a planned giving donor and walking away with ideas you can put into practice right away.
